Every ring here is a single piece in a single size. Get your number right first.

Measure before you buy.

These pieces are not resized, so a ring that does not fit is a return rather than an adjustment.

Three ways to find your size

Measure a ring you already own

The most reliable way. Take a ring that fits the finger you are buying for and measure straight across the inside with a ruler in millimetres, inside edge to inside edge.

Measure the finger

Wrap a strip of paper or a length of string around the base of the finger, mark where it meets, lay it flat and measure it in millimetres. That is the circumference.

Get it done properly

Any jeweller will size a finger on a mandrel in about a minute, usually for nothing.

Shop rings by size

Before you measure

Measure warm, not cold. Fingers shrink in the cold and swell at the end of the day. Take the reading in the evening at room temperature.
Match the finger, not the hand. The two hands differ, often by half a size, and the dominant one is usually larger.
Mind the knuckle. If the knuckle is much wider than the base, size to slide over the knuckle and accept a looser fit below it.
Wide bands sit tighter. A heavy nugget or cuban band takes up more of the finger than a thin one, so on anything above about 8 mm consider going up a half size.
